Hey family, we're starting a brand-new series called "The Jesus I Never Knew." We're going to look at seven "I am" statements that Jesus made in the book of John that will allow us to see Jesus in a new and profound light. Some of the biggest heartaches we'll ever have in life come from not understanding who God is, and nobody tells us who God is better than Jesus. Invite a friend who wants to figure out whether Christianity is for them--or a friend who wants to deepen their walk with Christ. Let's pursue him together.

Hey family, the next few days are an amazing opportunity to invite your friends to church. First, this Sunday, April 13, is Palm Sunday, which commemorates Jesus riding into Jerusalem to be greeted by crowds cheering and waving palms. Next will be Good Friday, April 18, when you will experience a truly special service like none we have ever done before, followed by a delicious catered meal. (Please reserve your spots by clicking on this link!) And then, of course, Sunday April 20 is Easter itself, Resurrection Sunday, the holiest day on the Christian calendar. There will be a special Easter service for kids 5-12 as well. Sunday services start at 10 a.m. On Good Friday, the doors will open at 5:30 and service begins at 6, with dinner to follow. I cannot stress how important it is to invite others. Souls matter, and eternal souls matter. Your friends are looking for hope. In this very crazy world, where politics and finances and everything else seem so wild right now, we find our hope in Christ. So please put these dates down and invite your friends. --Edwin

The humility of God Hey family, this Sunday our visiting speaker, Brad Franklin, will continue our series called The Humility of God. We'll look especially at Jesus' Sermon on the Mount and learn how we can actually live out the same humility that characterized Jesus' own life. Does that seem impossible to you?
